When COVID-19 Pandemic some cases were found in India, BCCI Postponed IPL 2020 to April due to lockdown in India and other countries. Government of India was the extended lockdown due to large no of cases found daily.

BCCI and governing body of IPL were decided to IPL 2020 suspended due to COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown India and other countries.

The conference call has been initiated by the President of BCCI Saurav Ganguly with governing body of IPL. In this conference call President of BCCI, Secretary of BCCI and governing body of IPL had been decided that there is no way to play IPL 2020 in April and May so, it could be suspended until next notice will be received from the government of India.
